After 10 years of service on the Foothill-DeAnza College Board, I was elected to the Cupertino City Council in November 2001 and re-elected in 2005. I was sworn in as Mayor of Cupertino on December 4, 2007. I completed my 2nd term on the City Council in December, 2009. I am committed to environmental protection, public safety, sensible transportation and housing solutions, and well managed government.
